A local government entity in Inverness is seeking a Seasonal Cashier for the Whispering Pines Pool. This temporary position, offering $14.00 per hour, requires skills in customer service and handling money. Duties include selling admission tickets and providing information to the public. Applicants should be high school students or graduates, with integrity and good communication abilities. The role may involve passing a drug test and a physical examination after hire.
BEGINNING PAY RATE: $14.00 PER HOUR
LOCATION: WHISPERING PINES PARK POOL
EMPLOYMENT DURATION: This is a temporary position, without benefits; that will end (terminate) on or before October 31st.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Under direction and supervision, this employee dispenses activity admissionabilité tickets and/or collects fees and accounts for same. Is responsible to the specific facility director or to a designated administrative staff member. Answers office telephones and provides information to public.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION:
High school student or graduate. Demonstrated skill in the proper handling of money. Honesty, tact, and ability to work harmoniously with others. Knowledge of fees and charges and of recording requirements relating to the events. Computer experience preferred.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL & TESTING:
After an offer of employment has been made, the successful candidate must submit to and pass a drug test as a condition of employment. In addition, the candidate may be required to submit to a physical examination that is designed around the performance criteria of this position.
