Scheme Manager
Farnborough – Covering Shaftesbury Court and Bourne Court

Salary: £26,643 - £27,467 per year

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Part time hours will be considered)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join our Housing team in Farnborough covering two sites (Shaftesbury Court and Bourne Court). You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality housing management service, which will include promoting independent living, providing tenancy advice and signposting to other agencies for support. This is a rewarding yet challenging role and is ideal for someone who has previous experience of working with older or vulnerable people in a housing management setting and is knowledgeable about safeguarding.

The role of Scheme Manager will include:
  • Providing tenancy advice to residents
  • Encourage residents to maintain their well-being and independence through the effective delivery of high quality, safe and value for money housing support services that meet their identified needs and organisational objectives
  • Meet all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing services activities to ensure clean and safe homes for the Group’s customers, including undertaking compliance testing, risk assessments and scheme inspections and ensuring faults are reported and monitored
  • Encouraging residents to organise and get involved in activities
  • Wellbeing calls to residents via warden call system
  • Supporting the lettings team to manage vacant flats
  • Managing low level anti‑social behaviour
Skills and experiences:
  • Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
  • Some experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar
  • Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Occasional travel may be requirement of the role; therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
