Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for an experienced SAP CPQ Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable CPQ solutions in London. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP CPQ, strong knowledge of CPQ processes, and integration skills with ERP systems. This contract role offers a competitive pay range of £650 to £750 outside IR35 and is remote-friendly.

• Design and lead SAP CPQ architecture aligned with business objectives and IT strategy
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions
• Develop advanced configuration, pricing, and quoting models within SAP CPQ
• Integrate SAP CPQ with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Sales Cloud, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems
• Optimize CPQ performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and functional consultants
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Product, and IT to drive solution success
• Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices and security standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with SAP CPQ (formerly CallidusCloud)
• Strong understanding of CPQ processes: product configuration, pricing models, approval workflows
• Proven experience integrating CPQ with ERP and CRM platforms
• Proficiency in SAP CPQ scripting, customizations, and REST/SOAP APIs
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• SAP CPQ Certification (preferred but not mandatory)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Sales Cloud (C4C), or Salesforce CPQ
• Background in B2B sales process automation
• Knowledge of front-end customization (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) within CPQ
• Previous experience working with global teams
