Job Summary
The Sales Manager provides leadership to a Sales Team to manage the customer value stream from prospecting to close of business through excellent customer service, while meeting or exceeding revenue targets. The role encompasses managing an outside sales team, an estimating department, and partnering with production, engineering, transportation, and other CRH companies to drive joint success.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of outside sales representatives who spend the majority of their time in front of contractors, building relationships, maintaining specifications, and closing project deals.
- Lead a team of estimators to complete take‑offs, improve quote accuracy, and maintain response times aligned with customer expectations.
- Implement and manage systems that generate leads through professional sales tactics and networking within the engineering and contractor community.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals.
- Review market analytics to determine customer needs, market‑based pricing, and discounts.
- Respond to customer needs in a focused and service‑oriented manner, quickly addressing issues to provide positive results and apply knowledge to problem‑solve individual circumstances.
- Maintain and update a real‑time market‑based price list for outside sales representatives and estimators, and track won/lost jobs.
- Communicate professionally and timely with internal departments to ensure seamless customer service support across engineering, purchasing, production, delivery, and accounting.
- Routinely ride along with outside sales representatives for customer and jobsite visits to strengthen relationships, gather market information, and demonstrate Oldcastle’s value as a business partner.
- Develop and maintain a strong base of product knowledge and explore potential new product opportunities.

Job Requirements
- Industry experience preferred.
- 5+ years of sales management experience in an industrial or construction environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Experience with SAP, Salesforce CPQ beneficial.
