Job description

CK Group are working in partnership with Tepnel Pharma Services to recruit for a Sales Manager to join the team covering the UK territory on a permanent basis. Company: Tepnel Pharma Services have over 30 years CRO experience in pharmaceutical testing in support of drug development with an emphasis on inhalation, oral dosage, parenteral and biologics.

Location

This role is field based and reports to their site in Livingston.

Role
  • Develop and build-on relationships with existing clients, ensuring service satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify and qualify leads and generate new customers.
  • Develop proposals and quotations and negotiate contract terms.
  • Represent the company at industry events and in external forums.
  • Maintain and take ownership of forecasting, ensuring accuracy and transparency in reporting.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
Your Background
  • Educated to degree level or above in life sciences or a related field with previous experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical/contract services business.
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation and client-facing skills.
  • Proven ability to balance retaining existing business with generating new business.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and forecasting tools.
  • Understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulated laboratory environments.
