Daikin Applied (UK) Ltd, (formerly McQuay UK Ltd) is the market leader in energy efficient AHU and chiller products and servicing. Daikin Applied (UK) Ltd manufactures and supplies world leading applied products for the HVAC community including a comprehensive range of chillers, AHU systems, fan coils and an after sales service of full life cycle care, providing our clients with a total solution .

Summary

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for servicing designated consultants and customers for Chillers and AHUs products in terms of quotations, order negotiation and after sales sup port. As well as focusing on selling a range of HVAC products across the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration markets with a main focus across the AHU refurbishment and upgrade markets. You will be selling into a range of clients across the M&E and FM sectors ranging from end users, specifiers and more.

Main Responsibilities

•Solicit enquiries, provide technical support and provide quotations for client’s requirements

•Negotiate orders and transmit order packages to head office for execution

•Works with National Sales Manager to implement sale strategies, provide technical assistance and product applications information to customers

•Generates reports on sale activities and make periodic sales forecasts.

•Attends meetings at customer premises and company offices

•Assists marking in development and marketing tools.

•Investigates complaints and take necessary action to resolve conflicts.

•Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

•Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, techniques, etc.

•Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

•Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

•Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

•Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

•Experience and knowledge of the HVAC industry

•Experience within a sales environment

•Confident user in Microsoft Office

•Experience with Salesforce

•Good Communication Skills - both written and verbal

•Good attention to detail and able to work as part of a team and on their own.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree/HNC/HND or demonstrated experience in similar role

• ILM or Equivalent in Management and Leadership - desirable

• Valid passport & driving licence is essential

• Travel will be required within the UK and overseas to meet the needs of the business
