A major engineering firm in Helensburgh is seeking a Safety Case Engineer Weapons to develop and maintain safety cases across nuclear and munitions domains. You will ensure compliance with regulations, engage with stakeholders, and lead risk assessments to enhance safety systems. As aSafety Case Engineer Weapons, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will help develop and maintain robust safety cases across critical domains - nuclear reactor plant, nuclear weapons, and ordnance, munitions and explosives - so operations remain safe, compliant and mission‑ready. It is meaningful, high‑impact work that supports national defence and gives you wide exposure to complex engineering, regulatory compliance and risk management - accelerating your development in a unique, high‑hazard environment.
Day‑to‑day you’ll be required to:
This role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 16:45 and provides hybrid working arrangements.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
