A global engineering firm in Aberdeen is seeking a Rope Access Technical Authority to provide technical support and manage IRATA accreditation. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with health and safety standards while promoting business growth in Rope Access operations. Wood is recruiting for a Rope Access Technical Authority to provide technical support to Operations Management and the Rope Access delivery team. In this role you will be responsible for managing Woods IRATA accreditation, both locally and internationally. The position sits in our Operations Business Unit and is based in Aberdeen with hybrid working.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the Operations Business and the Wood delivery team. You will be a technical focal point and ensure guidance and mentoring to Rope Access team.
Carry out inspections and internal audits as specified by the Quality plan and undertake site visits / surveys to support scopes of work.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Wood functions including Delivery teams, Construction and Technical Functions, HSEQ and HR to ensure successful project deliveries across the business.
