A leading defense organization seeks an RF Designer to work on cutting-edge radio-frequency technology for complex weapons systems. This role involves practical RF design and testing of circuits within a frequency range of 30 MHz to 30 GHz. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for electronic engineering. Job Title: RF Designer
Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on experience
Location: Stevenage (relocation package may be available)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Blended on-site and remote working where possible. Typically, 3–4 days per week on-site due to workload. Role can be full time or part time to meet needs. We are flexible and accommodating.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. We require BPSS checks after offer stage, managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. Restrictions may apply to nationality and/or rights to work.
We are looking for an RF Design engineer with proven practical design experience for cutting-edge defence products. You will work on the research, design and testing of cutting-edge radio-frequency technology for integration into our complex weapons systems, with an emphasis on hands-on modifications or rapid prototypes where required. We expect a team player who can use initiative and has a real passion for electronic engineering, comfortable carrying out hands-on testing and modifications to boards, with a strong background in RF design.
