Arcus are recruiting a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Chipping Ongar store on a fixed term basis until March 2026. 23 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available.

Role and Schedule

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 05:00 to 12:00
• Monday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Tuesday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Wednesday: 05:00 to 09:00
• Thursday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Friday: 05:00 to 08:00
• Saturday: Day off

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies when required
• Outside work such as keeping trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

What will you need?

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
