At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit three part‑time in‑store cleaners based in Sainsbury’s store on a fixed‑term basis until February 2026, all with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Shift patterns

• 15.5 hours per week – Sunday 06:30 to 10:00; Monday day off; Tuesday 04:00 to 07:00; Wednesday 04:00 to 07:00; Thursday day off; Friday 04:00 to 07:00; Saturday 04:00 to 07:00
• 18 hours per week – Sunday day off; Monday 17:00 to 20:00; Tuesday 17:00 to 20:00; Wednesday 17:00 to 20:00; Thursday 17:00 to 20:00; Friday 17:00 to 20:00; Saturday 17:00 to 20:00
• 18 hours per week – Sunday 06:30 to 09:30; Monday 04:00 to 07:00; Tuesday 04:00 to 07:00; Wednesday day off; Thursday 04:00 to 07:00; Friday 04:00 to 07:00; Saturday 04:00 to 07:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• In‑store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies
• Working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on‑the‑job training will be supplied.

An eye for detail and cleanliness.

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
