Hours

15 hours per week to worked on Thursday and Friday with the flexibility to work additional days if required

££25,000 per year pro rata. Actual Salary £10,000 per year

This is an exciting and vital role at the heart of our retail operations, working closely with our current two-day-a-week administrator (Monday and Tuesday) to ensure seamless support across the week.

About the Role:
As part of our Retail Administration team, you’ll deliver exceptional support to donors, customers, and our retail team across North Devon. Your days will be varied and fast-paced—no two will be the same! From greeting visitors and dealing with enquiries to ordering/ managing stock, Gift Aid donor communications and supporting new projects, you’ll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills — able to maintain clear, consistent, and proactive communication with a job-share partner to ensure smooth handovers, shared priorities, and continuity of service
  • Friendly, calm, and efficient when supporting shops and the public, even on busy days
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills — skilled at prioritising tasks, monitoring progress, and understanding/ anticipating the wider impact on overall operations
  • Proven experience as an Administrator or Receptionist in a customer-focused environment
  • Experience of using Microsoft products and ability to learn new IT systems
  • Collaborative team player, adaptable and proactive in a fast-changing environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Able to verify data, maintain consistency, and uphold high standards in all tasks
