Emtec Facility Services are on the lookout for an experienced Resource Coordinator to join the team at our Head Office in Uddingston.

As a Resource Coordinator, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of our busy helpdesk. Your role will ensure that client requests are handled efficiently and that engineers have the information they need to carry out work effectively.

This is a fully Office based role. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am- 3:30pm.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Responding to client calls and emails with timely updates.
  • Generating and issuing Purchase Orders (POs) to engineers and subcontractors.
  • Creating job requests from incoming emails and ensuring all tasks meet agreed SLA’s.
  • Keeping planners updated with accurate information for upcoming site visits.
  • Maintaining clear and professional communication with clients throughout.
  • Updating and uploading reports as required to support contract compliance and record keeping.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in a similar role within facilities services is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and a methodical way of working.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident IT skills, including the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and support a busy team.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
