No experience is necessary. We’ll provide full training, including British Sign Language (BSL) training and sponsorship to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.

Responsibilities
  • Support our young people who live in the Academy Residential Home to develop their independent living skills.
  • Organise social activities, including activities in the local community, trips to the beach, cinema or bowling, and trips further afield.
  • Support students who spend their day in our School or College, with work placements or qualifications elsewhere, returning to the residential care flats.
  • Work outside of traditional school hours; shifts vary according to the academy’s timetable.
