A leading renewable energy company in Cardiff is seeking a Renewable Projects Engineer to support innovative fuel projects focusing on sustainability and technical delivery. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and experience in renewable energy systems. The role emphasizes project management and collaboration with academic and industrial partners. Competitive salary and hybrid working models offered.
Flogas Britain is seeking a proactive and technically minded Renewable Projects Engineer to play a key role in the design, delivery, and analysis of pioneering renewable fuel demonstrator projects.
Flogas are pursuing several low carbon fuel projects including a three-year initiative to grow and process biomass feedstock into renewable dimethyl ether (rDME), which will be blended with LPG to create a sustainable, lower-carbon energy source; a project with Cardiff University to demonstrate the worlds first ammonia fuelled steam boiler; and a collaboration between DCC and SHVE to explore sustainable opportunities for the generation of renewable liquid gas (rLG) and renewable and recycled carbon dimethyl ether (rDME).
The role combines engineering design, data analysis, and planning ensuring the projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. This position will suit an engineer or technical professional with experience in renewable energy systems, biofuels, or chemical process development, who enjoys seeing a project through from concept to operation.
