Job summary

An innovative online learning platform is seeking dedicated tutors to provide personalized lessons to ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong. Tutors will have the flexibility to set their own schedules, conduct one-on-one sessions, and create engaging learning environments. Candidates need a Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of K-12 teaching experience, particularly in ELA. This role requires adaptability, patience, and a passion for helping students grow, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
