Relief Domestic Assistant

Part‑time, permanent position. Days (rotational basis that includes weekends). Hourly rate £12.21.
Please note: This role is not eligible for sponsorship; applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.

We are looking for a Relief Domestic Assistant who will be dedicated to making every moment count, regardless of their qualifications or experience. The role requires adaptability, efficient work in a fast‑paced environment, excellent communication skills and collaboration with the team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning all areas of the care home in accordance with cleaning schedules.
• Vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and cleaning communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and specialist rooms.
• Polishing furniture, cleaning windows, sanitising surfaces and refreshing rooms before new residents arrive.
• Emptying bins, cleaning vases, moving furniture for thorough cleaning, managing cleaning supplies and reporting faulty equipment.
• Adhering to Health and Safety and Infection Control policies, completing records, attending mandatory training and staff meetings.
