The role…

Job Title: Relief ChefManager - Primary Schools

Area Supporting: Luton, Aylesburyr & Surrounding Area

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8am-2pmsome flexibility needed (30hours per week)

Working Weeks: 39weeks per year ( term time plus inset days)

Pay Details: £18,705 per year

Benefits: Mileage paid at 45p per mile, free meals OnShift, uniform, pension and other great company benefits

This is a mobile position and will require a full valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle

Duties Include:

• cooking from our amazing menu from scratch
• Managing a full kitchen team, ordering produce
• responsible for the health and safety
• being financially accountable for the unit attaining its GP/COGs
• Maintaining a high level of food safety and hygiene compliance

Skills needed:

• Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff
• Technical Cooking Skills
• Ability to work in challenging environments, while maintaining high standards
• Organisational and administrative skills
• Food hygiene and food preparation qualifications
• Previous work history as a chef/ Chef manager in contract catering would be advantageous

Your Background…

We’reopen to people with great cooking and people management skills.You will be an experienced Chef Manager, used to cooking using fresh seasonal ingredients at volume, managing your kitchen and liaising directly with onsite clients.

As manager you will head up the team, making sure service runs smoothly and that all due diligence is adhered to.
