  • Proactively managing borrower queries and monitoring alerts
  • Completing borrower reviews on an annual basis, or as part of the in-life events process
  • Managing borrower communications to assist with the collection of overdue repayments
  • Managing the defaulted borrowers process and liaising with the Recoveries team

  • Managing the process of customer complaints
  • Proactively liaising with internal departments, for example Sales and Credit & Finance
  • Ensuring company records are kept up to date, in line with LendingCrowd’s contractual and regulatory obligations
  • Participating in the delivery of management information for customer-related activities

You’ll also assist with retail lender enquiries to help lenders with the management of their LendingCrowd account, adhering to lender-related processes.

About you

In terms of knowledge, skills and experience, we would expect you to have:

  • A minimum of one year’s experience in a financial services environment
  • The drive to provide quality output as part of a high‑performing team within a volume lending environment
  • The ability to meet deadlines and support colleagues in the portfolio management team to support our borrowers and retail lenders
  • Experience of working with customers through arrears, recoveries and litigation processes
  • Experience in debt recovery for SME borrowers
  • Experience in analysing and interpreting financial information to assess the prospects of recovery
  • Experience of proactively managing a portfolio of customers within a financial services business
  • The confidence to liaise with borrowers at different levels
  • The confidence to interrogate and provide decisions on in‑life events under own delegated lending authority

It would also be beneficial if you have a working knowledge of insolvency in law in both England & Wales and Scotland, and experience of:

  • Completing and analysing credit reference agency reports
  • Conducting and completing Anti‑Money Laundering and Know Your Customer checks on borrowers
  • Analysing and interpreting financial statements provided by SMEs
  • Corporate and personal insolvency
