Join our team at Gloucestershire Registration Service as a Registration Certificate Services Officer. We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our small but busy team. Based at the Gloucestershire Heritage Hub in Alvin Street, Gloucester, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a vital public service.
As a Registration Certificate Services Officer, you will be responsible for processing certificate applications as well as producing, issuing, and certifying birth, death, marriage, and civil partnership certificates. This role demands a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality, as you will be working within statutory frameworks.
You will be working Monday to Wednesday, for 18.5 hours per week. Flexibility is required, as you may occasionally be asked to work at other locations across the county. This role is office based and there is no home working.
Full training will be provided, along with mentoring from experienced team members to help you settle into the role and develop your skills.
