About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and highly skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital. You will provide high-quality, patient‑centred care to critically ill patients in a fast‑paced and supportive environment.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care using your advanced clinical skills. Youll be working with state‑of‑the‑art equipment and have access to ongoing professional development and support. About you
  • Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse
  • At least 12 years of recent experience in ICU or a similar acute setting
  • Advanced clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • A commitment to delivering culturally safe, patient‑focused care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A calm and resilient approach under pressure
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow professionally

Postgraduate study in critical care nursing or a commitment to completing it is desirable.
