£21.84 – £24.06 per hour

Contract

3× or 4× 12‑hour shifts per week – 36 or 48 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Taking responsibility for the well‑being of our residents and ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
  • Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
  • Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents.
  • Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislation.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN, responsible for managing the unit alongside clinical duties, including oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and evaluating care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team.
  • Experience ensuring policies and standards are maintained to a high clinical standard.
  • Confidence offering clinical guidance for care teams, playing a crucial role in all CQC tasks.
  • Highly trusted member of the team who enjoys building connections with residents and their families, giving them kindness, support and care.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills essential for handover of clinical issues to team members and other healthcare professionals.
  • For night work, requires enhanced skills to ensure patient safety, working alone with limited support, strong critical‑thinking, self‑reliance and the ability to remain calm in emergencies.
