Are you an experienced Regional Facilities Manager looking for your next career move?

Our IPM team manages a diverse portfolio of commercial properties for prestigious clients – from colleges and institutions to property companies and family trusts. We don’t just manage buildings; we help clients see real estate as a dynamic part of their investment strategy.

In this position, you’ll play a key role in ensuring properties for our clients across Cambridge and the surrounding area are maintained to the highest standards. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same, and your expertise will make a real impact.

We’re looking for someone with a proactive approach, strong facilities management experience and a full UK driving licence, as the role involves regular travel between approximately 10‑15 properties in and around the Cambridge area.

What you’ll be doing

Property & Site Management

  • Carrying out regular property inspections with timely reporting and follow‑up of issues
  • Managing service charges and budgets
  • Overseeing contractors and utilities
  • Handling purchase orders and invoices

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensuring statutory compliance across all sites
  • Monitoring and reviewing health and safety activities via our internal system ‘RiskWise’
  • Promoting safe working practices and maintaining a high standard of health and safety performance across all sites

Systems & Reporting

  • Using ‘Vantify’ for contractor and maintenance tracking
  • Maintaining accurate records for facilities, compliance and financial activities.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Building strong working relationships with clients and contractors, as well as internal teams
  • Communicating updates effectively with stakeholders regarding facilities issues and updates
  • Supporting the wider team in delivering exceptional service across the portfolio
About You
  • Proven experience in facilities management across multiple sites.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management systems.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
  • Experience with ‘Vantify’ and ‘RiskWise’.
  • Background in commercial property management.
  • Experience in service charge budgeting and contractor procurement.
