Job description
Refrigeration Apprentice – DGB REFRIGERATION LIMITED

DGB Refrigeration Ltd is a family‑run business based in Nottingham. We specialise in the repair, refurbishment, and manufacture of a range of refrigeration units, chillers, carbonators and brewers to a very high standard for the vending industry. We offer free collection and delivery across the UK for 3 or more chillers on a pallet.

Responsibilities
  • Potentially full‑time employment for the right individual upon completing apprenticeship successfully
  • Assist with the construction of medical chillers
  • Support the refurbishment of refrigeration chillers used in the vending industry
  • Receive all training from one of our experienced and fully qualified engineers
  • Be supervised at all times during the apprenticeship
  • Gain practical experience in installation, commissioning, testing, fault diagnostics, rectification of systems, and the suitability and selection of components and refrigerants
  • Progress to a Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Engineering Technician Level 3 (A level)
  • Attend the Construction Campus (NG17) one week during term time as part of the block‑release delivery model
  • Work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession
  • Experience a blended learning model combining face‑to‑face and online training

Monday – Thursday, 7.30 am – 4.30 pm
Friday, 7.30 am – 2.00 pm
