About UK & Ireland 2028 Limited

UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is the local organising committee responsible for planning and delivering UEFA EURO 2028 across the UK & Ireland. We work on behalf of the five Football Associations and in close partnership with governments, host cities, stadiums and communities to ensure the tournament is delivered to world-class standards.

About UEFA EURO 2028

The UEFA European Championship is one of the world’s biggest sporting events. In 2028, it will take place across the UK & Ireland, bringing significant operational scale and requiring close coordination between host cities, stadiums, government partners and UEFA.

The Role

Working closely with the Senior Recruitment Manager, the Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for running the day-to-day recruitment administration engine — ensuring recruitment activity is organised, accurate, timely and delivered to a consistently high standard.

This is a critical role in enabling high-quality, fair and inclusive hiring at volume and crucially at pace. You will ensure that recruitment processes, scheduling, candidate communications and systems administration are executed smoothly and consistently, allowing recruitment activity to scale effectively as the tournament approaches.

What you’ll be doing

Recruitment operations & administration

  • Coordinating end-to-end recruitment administration across all roles.
  • Supporting the advertising of roles across internal and external job boards.
  • Managing interview and assessment scheduling across complex diaries, including multi-panel and multi-stage processes.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring clear, professional and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Preparing and issuing interview packs, scoring grids, assessment instructions and panel guidance.
  • Tracking applications, interviews, assessments and outcomes accurately through our Applicant Tracking System (Talos).
  • Providing first-line triage of the UK & Ireland 2028 careers inbox and escalating queries where appropriate.

Assessment & selection support

  • Coordinating the administration of structured interviews and job-related assessments.
  • Liaising with external assessment providers to support smooth delivery.
  • Supporting the consistent application of agreed selection criteria and scoring frameworks.
  • Collating interview feedback, securely storing interview notes and maintaining audit-ready records.
  • Developing a strong working understanding of assessment and selection methodologies and how they support fair, evidence-based hiring.
What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who understands that excellent recruitment coordination directly impacts hiring quality, fairness and candidate experience.

You may already have recruitment coordination experience, or you may bring transferable experience from areas such as HR operations, professional services, education, public sector or complex project coordination — provided you can clearly demonstrate how you will manage recruitment and selection administration at pace and at scale.

You will bring:
  • Experience coordinating complex, high-volume administrative processes end to end.
  • Strong organisational capability and confidence managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Confidence working with systems, data and documentation.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgement.
  • A genuine interest in recruitment, assessment and selection.
  • Strong competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Confidence coordinating interviews and assessments using tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to produce and maintain accurate recruitment documentation.
  • Understanding of GDPR and the importance of handling candidate data securely and appropriately.
