Recruitment Administrator / Resourcer - Bury St Edmunds

We are seeking a proactive Recruitment Administrator / Resourcer to join our HR team on a fixed-term basis. This role is critical in helping us manage a significant increase in recruitment activity across the business to ensure timely and effective hiring while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.

You'll be at the heart of our recruitment process. Your role is to source, screen and build relationships with candidates, ensuring the best fit for our requirements. You will work closely with our Talent Acquisition Advisor and wider HR team to deliver efficient recruitment processes, support early careers initiatives and help us remain competitive in a challenging market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, monitor and analyse the local legal market to identify opportunities for talent acquisition
  • Research and identify potential candidates through various channels (including LinkedIn, careers pages and direct approaches) and build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future vacancies
  • Create and publish job advertisements on internal and external platforms, including LinkedIn, Social Media and company external and internal careers pages.
  • Review and shortlist applications received through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Conduct telephone interviews to assess candidate suitability and alignment with role requirements and company culture and make recommendations for interview
  • Take ownership of recruitment for non-legal and support roles, ensuring timely and effective hiring
  • Oversee onboarding and induction processes for new hires, working closely with our HR Administrator for support
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Advisor on future talent events, representing the business at careers events, together with organisation and sourcing internal support at each event

Skills & Experience

  • At least six months’ experience in talent acquisition or recruitment (agency or inhouse)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities effectively
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and sourcing tools (eg LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Knowledge of the local legal market is desirable, but not essential
