Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive receptionist to join our busy and growing accountancy practice in Tonbridge, Kent. In this role, you will handle a variety of reception and administrative tasks to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office. This is an interesting role within a fast‑paced environment, where accuracy and efficiency are essential. Full training and ongoing support provided.
Telephone, email and face‑to‑face contact with clients is an essential part of this role, so excellent communication skills are required.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s grades 4 and above (or equivalent).

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post.
  • Answering telephone calls promptly in a polite and professional manner, taking clear and precise messages.
  • Daily filing which will include photocopying and scanning.
  • Booking client records in and out of the office in an accurate and well‑managed manner.
  • Booking appointments, managing meeting rooms and maintaining an up‑to‑date calendar.
