A healthcare organization in Tees Valley is looking for a compassionate Receptionist to provide efficient reception services for patients and visitors. You will join a multi-professional team, ensuring high-quality customer service while supporting individuals with mental health conditions. You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
We require a friendly, positive‑thinking, organised and motivated individual to work as a Receptionist within the Trust’s Hotel Services Team.
Candidates must be able to follow and work within defined procedures and have the ability to communicate face‑to‑face and by telephone in a helpful manner. You will be required to demonstrate a high level of customer service skills when dealing with potentially distressing situations. Good organisational and time management skills including ability to prioritise effectively are a must.
You will need to be passionate and enthusiastic about putting patients at the heart of everything you do. You will be working in a multi‑professional team and will need to be able to think on the spot and be empathetic.
The post holder will be based at Flatts Lane Centre, Middlesbrough but may be required to support on the Reception at Roseberry Park, Middlesbrough. Shifts will be between the hours of 08:00am and 6:00pm.
You should be highly motivated, reliable, and flexible and willing to work at short notice as there may be opportunities for extra hours.
Experience of working or volunteering in a mental health and learning disabilities environment is desirable.

The successful candidates will complete a 5‑day induction programme; location will be agreed prior to start date.
