Join Our Reablement Team as a Care and Support Worker

Are you compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a difference? We are seeking Care and Support Workers to join our Reablement Service, supporting individuals to regain independence and confidence in their own homes.

About the Role
  • Contract: 33.75 hours per week
  • Service: Operates 7 days a week, year-round
  • Location: Community-based care in service users’ homes
  • Purpose: Support recovery following illness, injury, or hospital discharge
Working Pattern
  • 4-week rolling rota
  • Morning shifts: 7:00am – 3:00pm
  • Evening shifts: 2:30pm – 10:30pm
  • Includes weekends and bank holidays
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential
About the Service

Our short-term, person-centred service supports individuals with disabilities or those recovering from illness. We focus on:

  • Promoting independence
  • Relearning daily living skills
  • Providing dignified, respectful care
  • Working collaboratively with health and social care professionals
Additional support includes:
  • Bridging care while long-term arrangements are made
  • Resettlement support following time away from home
  • Emergency response during urgent situations
Training and Qualifications

Essential:

  • GCSE Grades D–G or Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths and English

Desirable:

  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • If you do not currently hold this qualification, full training and funding will be provided upon successful completion of your probation period.
Pay and Benefits
Salary

£25,583 – £25,989 (FTE)- £13.26 to £13.47 per hour.
