Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Radiotherapy Engineer to service and maintain complex patient-critical medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a background in electronic/electrical engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the field. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults and conducting repairs, as well as training other staff. This role offers a salary between £56,276 and £63,176 per year, inclusive of HCAS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years practical experience in Radiotherapy servicing.
• Experience in servicing and repairing Linear Accelerators.
• Familiarity performing Quality Assurance checks.
• Specialist knowledge of Computer Control Systems.
• Experience with electrical safety testing of medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve faults in medical devices.
• Service and maintain radiation-based equipment.
• Communicate technical issues effectively to colleagues.
• Train technical and non-technical staff.
