Qualifications

Base pay range

Location: Flexible (UK-wide travel required for site visits and supplier meetings)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Salary: Competitive salary circa £45,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)

Kensa is at the forefront of the UK’s transition to low‑carbon heating. We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to ensure our projects are commercially sound and delivered efficiently helping us scale renewable heating solutions nationwide.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in accurate commercial management, and thrives on seeing well‑managed projects delivered successfully. What You’ll Do
  • Managing cost planning, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple projects.
  • Preparing and analysing tenders, bills of quantities, and scopes of work.
  • Leading commercial administration of NEC, JCT, and bespoke contract forms.
  • Supporting procurement activities and building strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Working closely with project managers to track progress and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Negotiating variations, managing risk, and agreeing final accounts.
  • Providing clear commercial insight to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and supporting the growth of our renewable energy projects.
