We are recruiting for a full-time Quality, Health & Safety Environment Manager (QHSE) in Bridgnorth.

We are recruiting for a full-time Quality, Health & Safety Environment Manager (QHSE) in Bridgnorth.
The ideal candidate will have extensive prior experience of managing / maintaining a ISO9001 Quality Management System, ideally within a manufacturing or automotive environment, and the relevant technical experience to identify, investigate and resolve potential quality issues.
Quality Management
Ownership of the Quality Management System and Quality Policy, ensuring that we maintain our ISO9001 approval status
Design & maintain quality standards, procedures and specifications for the SNG Group Ensuring that all processes meet safety, legal and other national or international standards
Review / audit existing procedures to ensure they meet the current guidelines
Quality Assurance / Control
Ensure that supplied parts (in-house and external supplier) meet necessary requirements
Reviewing customer expectations and making sure they are met
Analysing, identifying and implementing manufacturing and/or business process improvements which will improve capability and performance
Minimise Internal and External Quality Escapes
Providing quality assurance technical expertise to support manufacturing
Review and test of sample / first article parts
Inspecting parts/materials for defects as appropriate
Lead the resolution of quality related issues, identifying problems, participate in investigations, then collaborate to design and implement effective solutions
Health & Safety
Develop & maintain occupational health and safety policy and governance arrangements
Develop and maintain a health and safety management system that reflects legal and good practice standards
Develop and maintain a process for health and safety inspections and audits to monitor performance.
Measure and report health and safety performance
Identify hazards and complete risk assessments / incident investigations
Align health and safety decision-making with business decision-making and risk management
Advise on the maintenance and improvement of safe systems of work
Train and educate SNG Group colleagues to enhance the health and safety culture
Facilities
Overseeing facility based activities including security, parking, cleaning, building works etc
Ensure all facilities meet environmental, health and security standards Ensure that facilities / amenities, such as water, heating, air-con etc, are well-maintained
Quality, Health & Safety Environment Manager Essential skills, qualities and experience:
Experience of managing / maintaining a ISO9001 Quality Management System
Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work independently and proactively
Good investigative and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships
Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems required
Adaptability Quality, Health & Safety Environment Manager Desirable skills, qualities and experience
Previous experience in Quality / H&S leadership
NEBOSH / IOSH (or similar) accreditation In-depth knowledge of national or international industry regulations.
Working hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) between the core hours of 08:00 and 18:00.
