**Date Posted:**2025-12-16**Country:**United Kingdom**Location:**BE Aerospace UK Limited, 2 Moor Road, BE - Kilkeel, Kilkeel, BT34 4NG and Unit 3, The Inner Basin, The Harbour, Kilkeel, County Down, Northern Ireland, BT34 4AX.**Position Role Type:**Unspecified**Quality Engineers** to join our fast-paced and innovative team.**The successful candidates can expect to:*** Maintain and improve Collins Quality management systems to ensure on-going effectiveness.* Ensure that all products are manufactured to relevant international standard(s) and meet or exceed Collins Aerospace and customer needs.* Ensure that product certification processes continue to meet FAA/EASA/CAA/AS9100 requirements.**These roles are based at our Moor Road facility in Kilkeel. The hours of work are 37.5 per week.****What you will do:*** To establish/support/monitor quality policies and procedures that are followed throughout the business that contribute to consistent high-class performance in all areas* Represent the business with customers and regulatory authorities with the objective of inspiring confidence and enabling positive cooperation in the quality of products and services provided* Develop, promote and lead continuous improvement activities* Provide support and assistance to development in development and execution of corrective actions* Lead in quality system and/or process audits in Collins as needed* Leads and participates in supplier and in house improvement events* Contribute and participate in Material Review Board’s* Travel nationally and internationally in line with business requirements* Take initiative and seek results in a structured way* Clear communication (both verbally and orally) to all levels within the organisation on quality related topics* Maintains & improves Quality System documentation to ensure on-going effectiveness and alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements.* Coordinates QMS updates and supports process owners with changes to procedural documentation.**Essential Criteria:*** Hold or working towards a Third Level Qualification Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 1 year’s relevant Quality or Engineering experienceOR**Internal Only Criteria:*** Currently working in an M2 Role within Engineering or QualityOR* Hold or working towards a Third Level Education in a relevant discipline* Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a P1 Engineering or Qualiyt Engineering role.OR* Have successfully completed a relevant Development Programme e.g. (the ML Development Programme, Step Up Development Programme, Tech Tracks etc.)OR* Currently working in a T5 role with experience in engineering or quality.**Desirable Criteria:*** Demonstrate experience of completing and/or managing internal audits* Demonstrate experience of completing problem solving activities using methods such as 3C, 8D, 7D, DMAIC etc.* Working knowledge of lean principles* In depth knowledge and application of ISO9001/AS9100 standards**How to apply:****Please note, it is the candidate’s responsibility to clearly outline how they meet the criteria required for this role.****Closing date for applications: 13th January 2027****What we offer:****People are** **core** to what we do.
