Own your career and build something to be proud of at Balfour Beatty. Join our Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick team as a Quality Delivery Lead - Electrical on the Sizewell C Project. This role will be hybrid with 1-2 days based at our Bristol Aztec West office.

About The Role

Sizewell C will create a 3.2 gigawatt power station generating low‑carbon electricity for at least 60 years, adjacent to Sizewell B.

What you’ll be doing
  • Ensure MEHA quality requirements are implemented and delivered across the full project life cycle.
  • Work with the Quality Manager Leads to define and enforce supply‑chain adherence to contracted quality assurance and control requirements.
  • Support the Head of Quality in achieving Integrated Management System arrangements and manage quality for all programme activities.
  • Coordinate and lead all quality‑related elements associated with the supply chain.
  • Confirm manufactured equipment and components conform to contract design and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with all project functions and the supply chain to deliver consistent, safe, efficient, first‑time quality.
  • Submit regular performance reports indicating deviations, corrective actions and issue escalations.
  • Act as a point of independent quality escalation for programme team members to the Head of Quality.
Who we’re looking for
  • HNC/HND in Quality Management or a relevant science or engineering degree, or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ideally ISO 19443:2018, with understanding of CFSI risk.
  • Lead Auditor qualification to ISO 9001.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Quality Management Lead managing large teams on MEH construction projects.
  • Experience in the MEH construction and acceptance process, with knowledge of adjacent activities and operational issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to prepare presentations and address audiences of all sizes.
  • Ability to implement practical solutions and incorporate others’ ideas.
  • Strong interfacing experience with project teams and supply chain organisations.
  • Data analysis, report preparation and recommendation skills.
  • Experience resolving issues with diverse stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
  • Influencing and constructive challenge skills.
  • Relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Pro‑active, flexible and self‑motivated.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
