Are you ready to make a real impact in quality and continuous improvement?

OPM Labels and Packaging Group is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team at The Colour Box, Gelderd Road, Leeds.

You’ll be the champion of quality—the one who keeps standards sky-high, records traceable, and you’ll be hands‑on with the production team, suppliers and customers to make sure every printed product is safe, compliant, and ready to go.

Complaints? You don’t just resolve them—you turn them into improvements.

You’ll own the process for customer, supplier and internal complaint resolution. You and your trusted team will log root‑cause analysis for corrective actions and clear communication, ensuring every issue is handled fast, documented accurately and used to drive continuous improvement. Calm under pressure, detail‑driven, and proactive? This is your role.

What you’ll own:
  • Setting and maintaining OPM quality procedures.
  • Complaint management and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and inspire the QA team, and customise training.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, BRCGS V7 Packaging, and PS9000:2016 standards.
  • Batch release, traceability & quality response.

You’ll bring 3+ years in QA (printing/packaging or food, pharma or sports nutrition sectors ideal), know HACCP, BRCGS & EU/UK regs inside out, and thrive under pressure.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience in quality management within a manufacturing or print & packaging environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable improvements.
  • Familiarity with quality management software and standards.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
Why Join OPM?
  • Be part of a forward‑thinking company that values innovation, teamwork, and professional growth.
  • Enjoy a driven work culture that believes in training and developing people to give them the opportunity to make a real difference.
