About The Role

Location: North East & Yorkshire (flexible working welcomed)

Business area: Risk, Audit & Quality

Reports to: Quality Manager

Make a difference where it matters. As a Quality Advisor, you’ll help ensure our projects meet customer and stakeholder requirements from day one, embedding Right First Time and Zero Harm across the full lifecycle. You’ll coordinate assurance activities, verify compliance against our standards and accreditations, and champion our values every step of the way.

What you'll be doing
  • Develop, review and help teams follow Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans, including those from our supply chain.
  • Support delivery teams to achieve quality deliverables, resolve issues and share practical quality advice.
  • Set up and agree sample/benchmark plans with customers and suppliers.
  • Use digital tools to monitor quality performance, deliverables and issues against agreed targets.
  • Collate and deliver accurate, on‑time handover records to customer requirements.
  • Work to our Business Management System and support internal and external audits.
  • Help implement project quality strategies and actions across the full lifecycle.
  • Coach teams, share lessons learned and promote a culture of continual improvement
Who we're looking for
Essential
  • Prior experience in Quality and/or relevant operational/technical roles.
  • Level 4+ qualification in Quality, Construction or Manufacturing, or PCQI.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 terminology and solid understanding of Quality Management.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work to plans/programmes.
  • Effective relationship‑builder who can influence and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Desirable
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor training.
  • Awareness of sector‑specific certifications and requirements.
  • Experience with Digital Progressive Assurance systems/e‑forms.
  • Operational experience in construction or asset management.
