A family-run automotive service center in Melton Mowbray seeks a Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician. You'll diagnose and repair vehicles, ideally bringing a minimum of 2 years' experience along with NVQ Level 3 qualifications. As a certified Peugeot, Citroen, Ford and Vauxhall Repairer, we are seeking a Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team!
Main dealer experience is not essential, but a minimum of 2 years' experience is required.
This is a full-time position Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm with Saturday 8.30am - 12.30pm on a rota within the team (one-on, one-off).
Requirements:
Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and to high standards.
• Carry out electronic visual health checks (eVHC)
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely, in line with MOT and manufacturer guidelines..
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Continuously develop your technical knowledge through training and upskilling.
What We’re Looking For
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• EV qualification desirable (training can be provided if required).
• Previous experience in a diagnostic or master technician role, ideally within a dealership environment.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to help colleagues and customers alike.

Salary £25,000 - £45,000 per annum
