A growing accounting firm in London is looking for experienced professionals in accounting and tax roles. This includes flexible part-time or full-time options with a supportive team culture. Candidates must have significant experience in accounting services, strong client focus, and excellent communication skills. Ideal for self-starters who can work independently. Anumerate is a small but growing firm of accountants based in the UK providing accounting, tax and company secretarial services to clients across the UK, EU, South Africa and beyond. Most of our clients require UK tax compliance, accounting and financial statements work.
We are a registered HMRC tax agent for all UK taxes and an approved ACSP with Companies House. Our expanding company secretarial division also delivers white-label, outsourced services to law firms and other firms of accountants, including share transactions, Board resolutions, Board support and Companies House filings.

We are expanding our team and have several part‑time and full‑time vacancies for experienced professionals. Work can be structured flexibly — either combining some categories/skillsets as a full‑time role or split between several part‑time specialists dependant on the individual, their skillset and whether they are looking for part‑time or full‑time work.

Remuneration is commensurate with experience and location and fee‑sharing opportunities are available for highly skilled and qualified accountants who wish to grow their own client portfolio within Anumerate. Our remuneration structure is aligned with the delivery of work and progress made.

All applicants must have significant relevant experience and demonstrate the following essential qualities:
We are recruiting in 4 different categories/skillsets across at least 2 separate roles. All opportunities are available on a part‑time basis or full‑time basis. Part‑time work can be arranged within school hours where preferred.
Finding the right person to fit with our team, with relevant experience, is essential. Individuals may be specialists in one category/skillset below and work on a part‑time basis or, for individuals with a wide range of experience, we can combine categories/skillsets into a fulltime position.
We are not a training firm and do not offer trainee positions.
(ACCA, CIMA, SAICA, ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI)
Experience with UK limited company accounts, VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping under UK GAAP and IFRS for small and medium companies. Prior experience in a professional accountancy firm and managing multiple client engagements is essential.
Experienced in preparing and filing UK self‑assessment tax returns, personal tax planning and advising clients. Prior experience handling multiple clients in a professional firm is essential.
Experienced in preparing and filing UK corporation tax returns for standalone companies and UK subsidiaries. Prior experience in a professional practice is essential.
Experienced in Companies House filings, Board resolutions, statutory registers, and share transactions (allotments, transfers, associated documentation). Prior company secretarial or administrative experience within a law, accounting or corporate services firm is required.

We are a firm of accountants and deal with confidential financial information. All successful applicants must agree to a background check including a criminal record check and must provide at least 2 contactable references. Individuals living in the UK must provide their UK residence permit or a UK passport. We do not offer visa sponsorship.
