Our hotel

The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902 it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests. As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

  • Be responsible for cleaning all the public areas of the hotel to The Balmoral standards
  • Support the room attendant team when required
  • Ensure the cleanliness is up to our hotel standards
  • Be part of our housekeeping team tocreate memorable experiences to our guests
  • Be knowledgeable of the hotel, our facilities, and the local area
  • Take pride in your work both when working independently and as a valuable member of the housekeeping team

The successful candidate will be able to work a flexible rota, including day, evening and weekend shifts, to support our business needs.

Expected package£30,000 gross per annum (£24,761.88 grosssalary plus qualified estimate of £5,000discretionary service charge)
