The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our Engineering team, where you’ll lead the delivery of site engineering, buildings and services projects. You’ll manage contractors, drive continuous improvement and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget—supporting business growth while reducing energy use and environmental impact.

• Scope, plan and deliver engineering and capital projects from concept through to completion
• Manage contractors, permits to work and site governance, ensuring legal and safety compliance
• Drive process improvements and implement best‑available technologies to improve efficiency
• Control project budgets, schedules and risks, providing clear reporting and KPIs
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality, safety and stakeholder alignment

The Ideal Candidate

• HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations
• 4+ years’ experience in project engineering or project management within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, compliance and quality systems
• Experience managing contractors and working with engineering drawings (e.g. AutoCAD)
• Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2) and food safety/H&S certifications (desirable)
