Role overview

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for anexperienced, enthusiastic and dynamic sales individual to join a highperforming Sales Region within UK Sales, Steam Thermal Solutions. Responsibilities

We are looking for a strong team player to work collaboratively with and support our talented team of area sales engineers, but also have the drive, determination and professionalism to proactively grow the regional and national projects business.

  • Working closely with the regional sales manager, you will be responsible for identifying, driving and delivering divisional and national projects to maximise sales and profit growth.
  • You will be accountable for all project sales on the sales region and ensure that all technical, commercial and financial requirements are fulfilled to the highest standards.
  • You will support our area sales engineers to execute their territory action plans and facilitate long term sustainable growth.
  • You will proactively engage with and visit consultants, contractors and end users at site.
  • In some circumstances you will provide project management at customers sites to support our UK project delivery team and area sales engineers.
Previous experience
  • Strong consultative and project sales experience within the mechanical engineering solutions space. You must be able to apply and have experience of value added consultative selling principals in line with our customer value propositions.
  • A mechanical engineering background, steam application and process knowledge are essential. Degree/HNC Engineering qualification would be preferred.
  • You will have managed a field sales territory in the past with demonstrable track record of success in engineering sales.
