Job description

We have an exciting opportunity within our IT function. As Project Manager you will drive the delivery of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives—from new supplier API integrations to e-commerce journey enhancements—ensuring they land on time, on budget and to spec. This is a sleeves-rolled-up role: you will personally dive into data, spreadsheets and tooling to unblock progress, not just coordinate meetings. You report to the Senior Project Manager and work closely with Technology, Product, Commercial and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the full project lifecycle (initiation ? closure) for multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Plan and lead new supplier/API integrations (air, hotel, ancillaries).
  • Deliver technical improvements to the booking engine, reservation system and automation workflows.
  • Launch new online products including marketing-technology integrations and flight-to-hotel upsell journeys.
  • Translate high-level requirements into clear technical specs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform hands-on analysis and operational tasks (e.g., updating airline cache files, reconciling spreadsheets) to support project delivery.
  • Maintain project artefacts: plans, budgets, velocity and status dashboards.
  • Proactively track tasks, manage dependencies, mitigate risks and chase stakeholders.
  • Produce concise progress reports and KPIs for management & steering committees.
  • Manage third-party vendors—scope, commercials, SLAs, handover to support.
  • Provide application support triage and prioritisation of competing requests.
  • Champion project governance and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
  • Significant project management within online travel, OTA or travel-tech domain.
  • Strong grasp of SDLC and hybrid delivery models (Agile Scrum/Kanban & Waterfall).
  • Proven ability to carry out detailed data/spreadsheet analysis alongside project coordination.
  • Strong background in business analysis, travel system integration and air operations, with an eye for operational detail and data accuracy.
  • Advanced stakeholder, vendor and budget management.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Excellent written & verbal communication; able to distil complexity for varied audiences.
  • Comfortable handling a busy, changing workload and making data-driven decisions.
  • Tenacious self-starter who thrives on solving problems hands-on and seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Adept at working across all levels of the business—from developers and QA to senior leadership—and influencing without authority.
  • Deep familiarity with Agile rituals (stand-ups, sprint planning, retros) and continuous delivery culture; stays abreast of emerging travel-tech trends and platform changes.
The Person:
  • Target-Oriented: Highly motivated by achieving goals and thrives in a performance-driven environment.
  • Meticulous: Maintains exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across all aspects of the booking process.
  • Strong Communicator: Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
  • Quick Learner: Adaptable and able to absorb new information swiftly, including systems, products, and processes.
  • Proactive & Positive: Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, consistently bringing energy, enthusiasm, and initiative to the role.

This is a Full-time permanent position where you will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.

In return for your hard work and commitment we will offer:

  • 22 days annual leave (increases with length of service)
  • Hybrid working on completion of probationary period
  • Company Pension Scheme
  • Discounted holidays
  • Friendly working atmosphere
  • On-site parking
  • Casual dress code
