Overview

We are recruiting a Project Manager to lead the ambitious, UK‑wide National Lottery project – Extended Table. This new five‑year initiative aims to transform the food system by creating inclusive social spaces that support marginalised people affected by multiple challenges. At its core, the project builds communities, amplifies participant voices, and promotes systemic change.

Key Responsibilities

In Brighton & Hove you will:

  • Deliver community cookery courses, community gardens and outdoor food & wellbeing courses
  • Support participants to volunteer, co‑deliver and set up their own projects
  • Help experts by experience have their opinions heard by people with influence within the food system at local, regional and national levels
  • Support us in improving structures & practice for user voice within the Food Partnership’s work and the city’s Food Strategy Expert Panel
Qualifications
  • Excellent people and project management skills
  • Experience of co‑design / user involvement
  • Enthusiasm to lead a project supporting marginalised people and promoting systemic change
