Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all programmatic aspects of one or multiple projects throughout their complete project lifecycle.
• Prepare project management/development plans; create and maintain project planning for new and current projects.
• Assign and monitor task progress via regular team meetings; coordinate activities within project teams.
• Control and monitor project costs; manage subcontractors; interface with customers for all programmatic aspects and reviews.
• Provide input to procurement and production processes; identify potential roadblocks and escalate as required.
• Contribute to proposals and bids as part of the role.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Qualification in computer science, aeronautics or electrical engineering (BSc. or higher)
• Three years of relevant experience as project leader/manager in an (electronic systems) engineering organisation
• Experience in the management of subcontractors
• Experience in system development projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary development teams
• Good organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills; fluency in English is required
• Experience in formal ESA documentation requirements and workflow according to ECSS would be an advantage
