A leading construction firm in the UK is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee civil engineering projects. You will manage site staff, monitor project budgets, and ensure successful project completion. The ideal candidate holds a relevant qualification and possesses strong communication and people management skills. Are you the person we are looking for?
The successful candidate will need to have experience working for a main contractor on projects which should include earthworks, structures, highways and heavy civil engineering schemes. We’re after a team player who has excellent communication and people skills who have the ability to manage people, change and delegate accordingly.
Already experienced as a Project Manager, you will have a relevant industry qualification (HND/ HNC/ BEng) or equivalent and an up‑to‑date SMSTS qualification, and appropriate CSCS card and temporary works coordinator. A First Aid at work qualification is desirable. Knowledge of NEC and contracts would also be an advantage.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be ok to travel within our Southern Region and have a full UK driving license.
