Job description

Quest Global is hiring for Project Lead at Lancaster, 12-month rollable contract outside IR35, 100% onsite.

Work Description

Good experience in establishing quality standards and specifications for product compliance and regulatory and customer expectations.

Good decision-making capabilities in preparation of process; ability to read and understand specifications and standards.

Work with cross-functional teams, local experts, partners and suppliers to ensure technical aspects of the projects are achieved.

Support investigation of all non-conformance reports and responses using proven problem-solving methodology.

Will be responsible for developing, evaluating, improving processes involving workflows, operating procedures and control documents; overseeing operational support to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems; vetting requirement gathering, planning, execution and closure of projects/initiatives; participating in weekly/monthly reviews, risk management of projects; driving continuous improvement and cost reduction through waste reduction, production efficiency and operations improvement; representing management in customer meetings and reviewing operational KPIs; driving improvements in all related manufacturing processes, including those related to products, equipment and product quality for customers; supporting root-cause analysis and implementation of problem-solving techniques such as 8D; using QC tools and SPC analysis.

• Awareness of aerospace/auto quality requirements (AS9100, OSHA, TS 16949, various ISO)

Education & Professional Qualification

Graduate/Post-Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum Hands-On Experience in Manufacturing Engineering

8-10 years of experience; should have faced 2-3 audits for various certifications in an individual capacity; Green Belt certification in any quality initiative would be an added advantage.
