AWC Staff Services is recruiting a Project Engineer on behalf of a major Cyber Security provider for the National Grid, following new contract awards. We are looking for a talented Project Engineer.

Role Responsibilities
  • Engaging with the design team.
  • Assisting with engineering input to the detailed design process.
  • Producing, reviewing and issuing RAMS and associated safety document requests.
  • Arranging site surveys with clients.
  • Ensuring survey data is captured and recorded.
  • Supporting the contracts manager/planner with commercial input and planning.
  • Raising RFIs/TQs to ensure compliance with relevant specifications.
  • Attending design review, site progress, coordination and integration meetings.
  • Monitoring construction progress.
  • Reporting to the contracts manager/planner for programme updates.
  • Coordinating design changes during construction.
  • Commissioning integrated security systems.
  • Handing over the security solution to the client.
Essential Experience
  • Experienced CCTV engineer/access control/security systems engineer/project engineer/Site Manager.
  • Electrical qualifications.
  • Good understanding of PID systems.
Compensation & Benefits

Start: ASAP
Duration: Permanent Position
Rate: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE)
