Project Engineer

We're working with a leading coatings manufacturer who are looking for a skilled project engineer to join their team. What You’ll Be Doing

As a Project Engineer, you'll be overseeing a range of projects to improve production, including development of manufacturing processes to ensure smooth scale-up of operations, quality engineering to ensure products of only the highest possible standard leave the site and driving down costs through implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

What You’ll Bring
Essential
  • Background in continuous improvement, materials development, process or quality engineering
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of diligence
  • Experience working collaboratively across technical and manufacturing teams
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma tools (Green Belt preferred)
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations
  • Ability to work independently, solving complex problems using data-driven methods
  • Willingness to travel for short periods to support manufacturing launches
