Job summary

A local government organization in the City of London is seeking a Project Engagement Officer. The role involves creating and implementing community engagement plans, planning inclusive events, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Project Engagement Officer – Lewisham Council

Location

The post will have an office base in Laurence House, Catford, but many of the duties will be carried out in Lewisham’s open spaces and with the parks service based at Wearside Service Centre, Ladywell.

Special Conditions
  • Frequent evening and weekend work is required.
  • A significant portion of duties will be outdoors; the post-holder must be comfortable working outside in various weather conditions.
  • Reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled candidates.
  • DBS Disclosure Required: Yes.
  • A driving licence will be required for this role.

Salary

£44,235 – £45,852 per annum (PO1). All appointments will be offered at the minimum scales for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
