In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering overhead line refurbishment projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and business objectives.***What you’ll be doing**** Supervise overhead line contractors delivering projects in Dumfries & Galloway.* Manage site delivery of underground cable laying projects* Develop robust project plans to minimise outages and meet licence obligations.* Liaise with landowners, customers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.* Monitor performance targets including capex spend, technical closure, and customer service.* Promote and ensure compliance with all safety legislation and standards.***What you’ll bring**** Project/programme coordination experience.* Knowledge of regulatory environment and incentive mechanisms.* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.* Ability to manage competing priorities and devise solutions to challenges.* Technical and operational experience in a relevant engineering role.* Working knowledge of construction and maintenance standards (LV up to 33kV).* Computer literacy and familiarity with systems such as SAP.**Minimum Criteria:*** Crafts qualification, apprenticeship, S/NVQ, or equivalent experience.* Previous LV experience.* Good customer service skills.* Relevant network construction and operational experience.***What’s in it for you***As well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits.
